MUSICAL THEATER CLASSES FOR AGES 3 AND OLDER

In Bravo Broadway children will learn performing skills as they sing, dance to choreography, and deliver speaking parts in a variety of different musical reviews.  Our modest, non-competitive teaching approach produces two programs yearly you'll be proud to see your child participate in.  We prepare for two class performances and one large performance in June (show fee of $15 due on February 1).  They have TWO teachers, one who specializes in voice, the other in dance - it's awesome!  Monthly tuition is $36 per month. Bravo Broadway is for students interested in a musical theater experience.  Students in Bravo Broadway will be singing, dancing and acting in a "Broadway Style" variety show:

  • Students learn skills that will last a life-time. 
  • Students will develop a love of music and performing that will keep them asking for more.
  • Students will develop coordination and rhythm as they practice motor skills while moving to choreography.
  • Students will learn how to find their singing voice, and how to use it correctly.  Children are never-ever encouraged to yell.  We stress the importance of caring for our instrument and how to sing without damaging the voice.
  • Students will learn the basics of vocal performance, including muscle training, shaping, correct breathing and projection.
  • Students will learn how to properly care for and sing into a microphone.
  • Smaller class sizes allow for individual attention from the teacher, and opportunities to perform vocal or dance solos and have speaking parts during the show.
  • Students will learn basic theater skills such as characterization, speaking with confidence and the importance of showmanship.
  • Students will learn how to participate as part of an ensemble and the importance of team work.
  • Students will be asked to provide the basic costume, we will provide the rest.  Costumes will always stress modesty. 
  • Students will develop a strong love of music and performance in this fun and rewarding class.  They will learn confidence as they perform as a group and on their own.  They will feel important and valued as a member of Bravo Broadway.
